Age Requirements: You may register to vote if you are at least 16 years old but cannot vote unless you will be at least 18 years old by the November 6, 2018 general election.
 
Restoration of Voting Rights in Maryland: Can someone have voting rights restored in Maryland if they have previously been convicted of a felony? Effective, March 10, 2016, if someone has been convicted of a felony and has completed serving a court-ordered sentence of imprisonment, that person is eligible to register to vote. The individual does not qualify to register to vote if they have been convicted of buying or selling votes.
